- Mansard loft conversion- this often creates the largest area from your loft space, but it does require structural work and planning permission. With a Mansard loft conversion you should have a room with the same head height as the other floors of your property, so it really feels like an extra room. - Dormer loft conversion- with this loft conversion, you will have a large window installed, which is great for allowing natural light into the space.
